Allen Gear, Chair

Allen Gear

Allen is a Senior Risk Manager for Microsoft. Allen has worked closely for years with TAPA and other industry associations and governmental agencies. Allen has been actively involved in TAPA Americas since 2006, is the current Chair, Standards Trainer, previous Vice-Chair and Secretary, and member of various committees, including co-leading the release of the Cyber Security Standard.


Scott Cornell, Vice-Chair Scott Cornell

Scott Cornell, 2nd Vice President, Travelers Inland Marine has been conducting investigations for 25-years specializing in internal theft, Cargo investigations, embezzlement, and corporate investigations. He has spent the last 14-years with Travelers insurance and is currently overseeing the Inland Marine Transportation division. Scott is a frequent speaker, instructor and is a nationally recognized expert in the cargo theft field.


Nathaniel White, SecretaryNathaniel White

Nathaniel is currently Manager, Product Security with Sanofi. He has been in the supply chain security field for over 8 years. His responsibilities include the TSA Certified Cargo Screening program, the CTPAT program, audits, live shipment monitoring, and case management system design and administration. He has been an active member in TAPA for the past 7 years, currently serving as the Treasurer, head of the education committee, and a member of the membership and standards committees. He is also a trainer for the TAPA standards.


Jennifer Bennett, TreasurerJennifer Bennett

Jennifer serves as Director, Asset Protection for Ralph Lauren Corporation. Jennifer has responsibilities within distribution and transportation security for the North American and European Supply Chain. Jennifer is a co-founder of the Virginia Carolinas Cargo Security Council (VCCSC), an organization that focuses on cargo theft prevention and best practices within transportation security. Jennifer currently serves as the Chair of the TAPA Law Enforcement Committee and is also an active member of TAPA EMEA.


Andrew Parkerson, Member-at-Large, ManufacturerAndrew Parkerson

Andrew Parkerson is the Program Manager, Logistics Security, for Cisco Systems. Andrew has 30+ years in Logistics / Supply Chain profession. He spent most of his time on the manufacturer/customer side with 3 years on the supplier side (Maersk Lines). Andrew has 7+ years in logistics security (Intel and Cisco). While at Intel, he was involved with TAPA for about 3 years, and on the board for two years.


Bill Boehning CPP, MSCJ, Member-at-Large, CarrierBill Boehning

Bill is the Corporate Director of Security for Prime, Inc. He manages all security operations for Prime Inc. along with ensuring compliance in C-TPAT, PIP, and TAPA certifications. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a master’s degree in criminal justice from Bethel University. Bill started a career in law enforcement where he had the opportunity to serve on the SWAT team, assigned to the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Group and the St. Louis Major Case Squad. Bill received his Certified Protection Professional status from the American Society of Industrial Security. He has been with Prime since 2011 as the Director of Corporate Security.

Bill has 10 years of experience within the transportation field and is the largest carrier to adopt TAPA standards.


Zak Bowyer, Member-at-Large, 3PLZak Bowyer

Zak Bowyer joined Total Quality Logistics (TQL) in 2004 and currently serves as Vice President, Sales Support Operations. Zak oversees Carrier Services and Logistics Support, a 24/7 call center operation; Sales Operations; Load Coverage Operations; and all Transportation Risk Management. Transportation Risk Management includes security, fraud, theft investigation and recovery, internal and external compliance management. Previously, Zak held a variety of management roles at TQL relating to developing training, recruiting, compliance, and operations. Zak holds Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati.


Terrie Wallin, Member-at-Large, ManufacturerTerrie Wallin

Terrie Wallin is Senior Manager, Supply Chain Security at Amazon. Previously, she led the Global Supply Chain Security Program for Facebook Technologies within the infrastructure foundation programs, where her efforts focused on the protection of intellectual property and strategy for a global secure supply chain. Terrie was a manager within Facebook Global Security, Strategic Product Solutions, for the 3 years in a variety of roles supporting a suite of security services that protect Facebook confidential materials and programs.


Cornell Heldenbrand, Member-at-Large, CarrierScott Cornell

Cornell Heldenbrand serves as Director of Security, at J. B. Hunt Transport Inc.. Cornell has worked for J. B. Hunt for the last 18 years. He has been in the Director of Security position for the last two years, previously managing the Investigations and Asset Protection departments. Also, Cornell spent 10 years as our IT Security Engineer.


James A. Neville, CPP,  Member-at-Large, InsurerJames Neville

James A. Neville is the Americas Marine Loss Control Engineering Lead with AIG. James has been with AIG since 2006. He has over 30 years of diversified experience in Cargo/Supply Chain Security, including expertise in Facilities Security and Fire Protection, and security experience in all transportation modes. James holds an M.S. in Insurance Management from Boston University, and also holds a number of professional designations, including Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS). Member of ASIS- Supply Chain & Transportation Security Council (Council Secretary), a member of InfraGard -Tampa Bay region, and a U.S. Navy veteran.


Scott Sullivan, Member-at-Large, ManufacturerScott Sullivan

Scott Sullivan, CPP, PCI, Investigations Manager, TJX Co Inc. Scott has over 29 years within distribution and supply chain security. His experiences include managing and/or opening Cross Dock Facilities, managing Distribution Centers, supporting E-commerce fulfillment centers, as well as overseeing the C-TPAT program. Scott’s successes include the development of Physical Security and Personnel Security Policy and Procedures, the launching of Best Practice Integrated Security Systems, the development of the Investigation Training Manual, and the development and implementation of the Best Practice Trailer Security Seal Program.


Raymond Desrochers, Member-at-Large, Logistics & TransportationRaymond Desrochers

Raymond is the Director of Security and Loss Prevention for Purolator – one of Canada’s leading logistics and transportation providers and has over 32 years of experience in the transportation, manufacturing, and retail sectors. He leads all security operations for Purolator and also heads up all compliance activities for  Dangerous Goods shipments and the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT), Partners in Protection (PIP), and Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) certifications.


David Evans, Member-at-Large, Logistics & TransportationDavid Evans

David is the Corporate Risk Manager for Loomis Armored, US. He is a dynamic and innovative security leader with 30+ years of military police, law enforcement, and corporate security experience, including management, supervisory, and individual contributor experience. A recognized SME in Risk Management, Investigations, Physical Security, and Threat Assessment, explicitly focusing on Cargo Theft, Transportation, and Supply Chain Security.


Chuck Forsaith, Board Member EmeritusChuck Forsaith

Chuck Forsaith, a Vice President within the Healthcare Distribution Alliance, administers the HDA’s Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition - which has over 2,000 individual members. The PCSC, which represents a wide variety of disciplines, monitors the security of pharmaceutical goods, in both transit and storage, all over the world. Chuck has been a TAPA member for over 18 years. He has authored numerous publications and articles on supply chain security as well as lectured domestically and internationally in the discipline for such organizations as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Food & Drug Administration, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Department of Justice, and US, Mexico, and Australian Customs.


David Wilt, Board Member EmeritusDavid Wilt

David retired in 2018 after a 29-year career with the Xerox Corporation as the Global Supply Chain Security Manager for Xerox Corporation and currently serves as Board Member Emeritus on the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Americas Board of Directors. He has been a member of the TAPA Americas board of directors since 2008 and served as the Chair from 2012 to 2014 and Vice-Chair from 2008 to 2012 as well as serving on various TAPA committees and workgroups. He was a member of the CTPAT minimum security criteria update team as the cyber security workgroup leader that developed the updated cyber security criteria for CTPAT.
